Supplies:

Botanical Orchid by PSX
Craft-T Metallic Rub-Ons
Clear embossing pad
Black pigment stamp pad
Clear embossing powder
Gold embossing powder
Black detail embossing powder
Burgundy colored card stock
Green Mulberry paper
Decorative edgers (scissors)

Stamp with black pigment ink and emboss with black embossing powder the Orchid on burgundy card stock. Cut around image with decorative edgers.

Coloring the image: With a cotton swab, work the Metallic Rub-on into the image ... greens and blues on the leaves, pearls and pinks and lavenders on the flower, golds and coppers in the background. Let a little of the burgundy paper show through. When it's colored to your liking, coat with clear embossing powder and heat. Don't worry about any spots that don't hold powder. This first coat protects any wet or sticky areas. Now, swipe a clear embossing pad across the entire image, coat with clear powder and heat. Repeat. Be careful about embossing ... don't heat too long as the embossed image also reheats and starts to blur.

Gilding the edges: Holding card on edge, tap edges of card into stamp pad (clear or black) all around the card. Dip edges of card card into gold embossing powder, tap off excess ... but, let a few grains of powder remain on card surface close to edges. These will be gold speckles. Heat and melt gold embossing powder.

Finishing: Attach embossed piece to mulberry paper that has been attached to gold cardstock.
