
Sunflower Mesh Card
Directions

Sun Flower: Image is stamped and embossed with detail black on rust colored card stock. Petals and leaves were painted with bleach. Radiant Pearls (Tiger Eye) was stippled (with Kewl Tool) onto flower center and embossed with clear creating seeds. Flower and background were painted with Radiant Pearls. Petals were painted Candy Apple, Summer Sun, Sour Lemon, Autumn Leaf, Pumpkin Spice, Plum Crazy, Twilight). Leaves were painted with Fandango, Emerald, Autumn Leaf, Plum Crazy. Stem was painted with Fandango, Wacky Walnut, Royal Satin. Flower Center was painted with Mahogany, Summer Sun, Silent Night. Background (behind flower) was painted with Midnight, Caspian Sea, Sapphire, Plum Crazy, Twilight. Trimmed and layered on copper and black glossy card stocks. Attached to back card with foam tape.
Backing Card: Many and various colors of Radiant Pearls were brayered onto burgundy color card stock. A strip of green colored Magic Mesh was dipped in copper detail embossing powder & heated. Mesh was placed into position and reheated. While it was hot, the mesh was push onto card removing some of the copper embossing (revealing green verdigris look) and the hot embossing powder acted as adhesive. More Radiant Pearls was swirled into card around mesh with Whiska Stippler where highlights were needed. Card was layered onto copper and glossy black card stocks. Sunflower was attached with foam tape.
