This card was colored with Radiant Pearls, which is no longer available. Inks, water colors, or Twinkling H2O paints can be used, too. The process is the same.
Three colors of Radiant Pearls (or inks or non-acrylic paints) are stippled onto the solid pear using the Whiska Stippler. Another two colors are applied to the leaves. The image is stamped onto ivory color paper. The stamp is wiped clean and three more colors are applied to the pear. Two new colors are applied to the leaves. This is stamped onto a white paper. One pear is cut into vertical strips, the other pear is cut into horizontal strips. The strips are woven together and adhesive is applied to the backside. A cool color (in this case a deep blue-violet) color is whisked onto the outline pear that is stamped off center on a sage green card. A paper towel masked is torn into the shape of the pear and placed over it. For contrast, a warm color (such as red-orange) is whisked onto the outline pear and stamped onto the card overlapping onto the masked pear. The mask is removed and the woven pear is attached. The Kewl Tool is used for the spatter creating visual texture around the card. Various colors are used that coordinate with all the colors used, which tie the entire piece together. The Kewl Tool is pounced into a puddle of paint then pounced around the paper. Repeat with each color.
