The Invitation

The seven inch square invitation is contained in a folio of handmade green and white Tamarind Leaf papers. The folio is made by box-folding four circles together. The folio is closed with a ribbon that is embellished with a large seal and wire & bead pick.

The circles (7" diameter)  were cut using an Accu-Cut Mark IV with a custom made die.

The seals are made from Hot Stix. Some seals are Forest Green, some are Pearl, and some are a mixture of the two. The relief image is made from small rubber stamps bearing a leaf or swirl image. The seals are accented with silver leafing and silver foil.

The picks are twisted wires with a leaf bead dangle. Some of the picks are green and others are silver. The Leaves range in greens and pearly tones.

The opened folio reveals a white card with embossed borders with a sage green card layered on top. The green card has the details of the wedding and receptions. Attached to the green card is a photo of the couple printed on sheer white vellum.

Loosely layered on top are the maps to the receptions and the response card & envelope.

The folio is enclosed in a mailing envelope that has been decorated by stamping with a fern image from Hero Arts and texturing with a Kewl Tool in shades of green and green metallic inks and paints.

The response card is embellished in the same manner.
